Resident Evil Village was one of the first PSVR2 games confirmed at the June State of Play showcase. Now, players will have a chance to test the game out via a public PSVR2 demo at the Tokyo Game Show next month. This will mark the first time anyone outside of a handful of privy people will get a chance to test out the PSVR 2 as well as Resident Evil Village in VR before it comes out on the next-gen VR headset. Unfortunately, we’re not quite sure which parts of RE Village will be playable during the demo. But, if not, fans should enjoy fighting off everything from werewolves to vampires and everything in between in the eighth mainline Resident Evil game. If you’d like to have a chance to play Resident Evil Village via the PSVR2, all you’ve got to do is to be in Japan and head on over to the Tokyo Game Show anytime between September 15 and 18. Technically, you’ll still have time to book your flights and prepare. Just be careful as Japan’s COVID-19 protocols are some of the strictest in the world. If you do manage to get in, good for you. If not, the wait won’t be for too long. Sony already confirmed that the PSVR2 will be out early next year. Also, as for Resident Evil Village, the survival horror game is getting its first piece of DLC on October 28 featuring Rose West and an all-new third-person mode. Speaking of Sony, the tech giant recently unveiled the DualSense Edge. Fingers crossed, an early prototype of the upcoming customizable controller will be available at the Tokyo Game Show.
