Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo revealed Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase earlier this year. At the time, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty didn’t have a release date yet. Apart from the release date, it was also revealed that the game will have different editions. There is the standard edition which has both a digital and physical version. There is also a Digital Deluxe Edition which will have a digital version of the game, a Season Pass, a Digital Art Book, and a Digital Mini Soundtrack. The Season Pass will come with three DLC packs that will include new demons, generals, stages, weapon types, scenarios, and more. Also, there will be a Season Pass bonus of Qinglong Armor, an early purchase bonus of Baihu Armor, and a digital pre-order bonus of Zhuque Armor.

This version will include the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty game, an exclusive collectible case, and bonus DLC items, “Crown of Gonggong” and “Crown of Zhurong.” Wo Long’s developers released a demo for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X users in September, which got an 89% positive rating from over 80,000 player survey responses. This is an incredible feat that bodes well for Team Ninja. During an interview with IGN, Yasuda stated: Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is the first title from Team Ninja since it launched Nioh and Nioh 2 in 2017 and 2020, respectively. It’s set in China’s Three Kingdoms period and combines real historical events with supernatural scenery as well as creatures from Chinese mythology. It follows a nameless soldier who must fight and defeat monsters and demons using true traditional Chinese martial arts in a dark fantasy world." Aside from Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Team Ninja is also working on a PS5-exclusive game, Rise of the Ronin, which has been described as Assassin’s Creed but set in Japan. On the other hand, Koei Tecmo and EA have teamed up for the upcoming Monster Hunter rival, Wild Hearts.
