Finish the Statue of Seven and Frostbearing Tree
Getting a few extra stamina may not seem like a big deal, but finishing both the Statue of Sevens in Liyue and Mondstadt can give you Primogems as rewards. Activating the Statues all around Mondstadt and Liyue can also unlock all the areas on your map. Both Anemoculus and Geoculus are found all over the map. You need a total of 65 Anemoculus and 130 Geoculus to max out the level of both Statue of Sevens. Inazuma has a new Statue of Seven, so clearing these two statues can give us free primogems and enable a focus on completing the Statue of Seven in Inazuma. On the other hand, the Frostbearing Tree in Dragonspine is a type of tree that gives rewards like Acquaint Fates and Intertwined Fates. You can level up this tree by collecting Crimson Agate all over the Dragonspine. Region. If you haven’t already, you can take a look at how you can complete and unlock the Dragonspine Region here. In the upcoming Inazuma update, a leak shows that there is a new Sakura Tree in the region. This tree can be leveled up by exploring the Region of Inazuma. Although the details are not yet confirmed, it is said to give multiple rewards and Fates.
Save up your Weapon Prototypes
If you are always doing Weekly Bosses, chances are you have a lot of Weapon Prototypes saved up. Don’t throw them away yet! The upcoming Inazuma 2.0 update shows 5 new weapons that you can forge in the Region. The details and stats of each weapon are not yet released. However, the new Inazuma weapons may have better stats for your characters so hold on to those prototypes.
Finish the Archon Quests
In the new Inazuma trailer, we see the Electro Archon God, Baal, making an appearance, and with the upcoming update comes a new Archon Quest for players. Before the Inazuma update comes out, we recommend finishing all of the Archon Quests so you can play the new Archon Quest in Inazuma. Not only do these Archon Quests gives you a lot of Primogems, but also Mora and Adventurer’s EXP. The last available archon Quest is available from AR 36 onwards. Chapter II Act I focuses on a new character called Kazuha and the Crux Fleet. You can unlock this quest after finishing Chapter I Act IV. Finishing this Archon Quest gives you Primogems and acts as the Prologue to the Inazuma Region. We recommend being at least Adventurer Rank 36 and above before Update 2.0 releases.
Collect that Realm Currency
Inazuma not only comes with new regions to explore, but it comes with an update on the Serenitea Pot as well. Players will now be able to put the farm plots in their Serenitea Pot. You can plant seeds in these farm plots and get the materials you need more efficiently. However, it seems that buying seeds and Farm Plots requires Realm Currency, which is a unique Currency generated in your Serenitea Pot. Be sure to increase your Trust Rank to gain more Realm Currency before the Inazuma update.
Finish all Quests in the Golden Archipelago
Inazuma is coming, but that also means that the Golden Apple Archipelago will disappear soon. The Golden Apple Archipelago is a limited-time region introduced in update 1.6, along with the Midsummer Island Adventure Event. Multiple events and quests can be found when exploring the Golden Apple Archipelago, and these quests give you rewards such as Primogems. However, as update 1.7/2.0 comes in, the Golden Apple Archipelago will disappear. The reason for this is so that mobile players do not suffer from a lack of storage space because of the new content. Make sure you take advantage of the limited-time region and get all the resources, as well as finish all the quests, in the Golden Apple Archipelago before Inazuma comes in.
Invest in an Electro Character
The Inazuma region is a huge area to explore, with hidden quests and puzzles. According to the Genshin Impact 2.0 announcement from miHoYo, players will need the power of electro to solve puzzles and traverse the land of Inazuma. If you haven’t already, it is time to invest in your favorite Electro Character. This preparation can help you explore the Inazuma region without any challenges. A character like Keqing or Lisa can easily activate the Electro mechanisms all over Inazuma. However, the Traveler will also gain the powers of the Electro so it might be worth investing in the Traveler as well. Players can also earn Beidou for free in the upcoming update. The developers showcased new events arriving with the update, with one of those events having Beidou as a reward.
Save your Primogems
I know it is stating the obvious but if you are a free-to-play player, this is the time to save and farm all the primogems you can get. The new Inazuma Trailer leaks multiple new characters from Inazuma. If you already have your sights on one of the new characters, be sure to save up your primogems and patiently wait for their banner. One of the best ways to earn primogems is by doing your daily commissions. Completing your main quests and world quests can also reward you with free Primogems. Another way to earn primogems is by opening Chests and Shrine of Depths all over Mondstadt and Liyue. Each Shrine of Depths chest gives you 40 Primogems, and there are currently 20 Shrines in total so start hoarding those Shrine Keys for Primogems. Of course, the new Inazuma region will also offer plenty of Primogems for you to save for your Wishes.
Summary
Many players are filled with excitement for the upcoming Inazuma Update to Genshin Impact. Working through the steps above can help you prepare for the update so you can enjoy the experience fully. Be sure to stock up on those primogems as well, because we are getting a lot of new content and characters.
